Over the past three years, Unwave has delivered more than 50,000 systems to the Ukrainian Defence Forces, completed over 600 contracts with military units, and grown from a team of just five people to more than 350 specialists. During its 3rd Anniversary Demo Day, the company also unveiled three new products: the Vikha operational-level electronic warfare system, the Steppe Wind strike system, and the Terrikon-X unmanned ground vehicle.

During the Unwave 3rd Anniversary Demo Day, the company’s leadership reviewed the milestones achieved over its first three years. CEO Taras Bublyk presented the company’s growth, highlighting Unwave’s transformation from a small startup founded in 2023 into one of Ukraine’s leading developers and manufacturers of integrated counter-UAS solutions.
Today, Unwave employs more than 350 specialists. While the company delivered around 500 systems to the Ukrainian Defence Forces during its first year of operation, that figure has now surpassed 50,000. Over the same period, Unwave has completed more than 600 contracts with military units, established its own full-cycle manufacturing facility, and obtained ISO certification.
“One of our key strategic priorities has been production localization. In 2024, Unwave localized the development and manufacturing of jamming modules, creating a fully Ukrainian tactical electronic warfare system. We have also significantly reduced our dependence on Chinese components. Today, our modules can be manufactured using alternative components sourced from Europe, the United States, South Korea, and Taiwan,” said Taras Bublyk, CEO of Unwave.
During the event, the company also conducted the first public demonstration of three new products that expand its ecosystem of solutions for the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
Vikha is Ukraine’s first operational-level electronic warfare system, designed to counter aerial threats at significantly longer ranges of 7–12 km. The system uses digital vector jamming generation and a three-axis precision targeting mechanism, enabling more effective disruption of UAV command-and-control and data transmission links. It supports remote operation and can be integrated with detection systems, centralized command-and-control platforms, and solutions developed by other manufacturers.

Terrikon-X is an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) developed in partnership with Ixian. The platform can be configured for a wide range of missions, including engineering tasks, logistics, cargo transportation, casualty evacuation, and vehicle recovery. It can carry payloads of up to 400 kg, tow vehicles weighing up to 2.5 tonnes, and operate for up to 40 kmwithout refueling. The platform also serves as the foundation for a future mobile version of the Vikha electronic warfare system equipped with an automated telescopic mast.

Steppe Wind is a strike system developed jointly with Sky Composite Engineering for high-precision combat missions in modern battlefield conditions. The system enables rapid deployment without extensive launch-site preparation, reaches speeds of up to 170 km/h, features optical terminal guidance, and can engage targets at tactical ranges of up to 90 km. It carries a payload of up to 5 kg and is delivered as a fully operational system requiring no dedicated infrastructure.

According to Taras Bublyk, the company’s next stage of development will focus on expanding its technology ecosystem.
“Our mission is to develop exactly the solutions that the Ukrainian Defence Forces need today. Looking ahead, we will focus on new radar technologies, establishing a counter-UAS training center, and further integrating our products with the digital systems of the Defence Forces as well as with solutions from other manufacturers,” concluded Taras Bublyk, CEO of Unwave.
