Kozak-2M1
Kozak-2M1 is a multi-purpose armoured vehicle manufactured by NVO Praktika, designed for mobile combat operations, patrol missions, unit escort, and operations in high-threat environments. The vehicle combines enhanced protection with sufficient capacity for integrating additional equipment, making it an effective platform for electronic warfare systems.
In cooperation with NVO Praktika, we developed and implemented a production-ready integrated solution comprising:
- a custom mounting frame for secure installation of the EW module on the armoured vehicle;
- the SHATRO EW module — a serial-production solution integrated into the platform without modifying the module itself; operational feedback was incorporated during implementation to improve its performance on armoured vehicles;
- an integrated control panel installed inside the crew compartment for convenient and safe operation;
- the VITRIAK UAV detector, providing early detection of aerial threats and enabling a complete detection → response system.
The solution successfully completed all required adaptation stages and entered serial production, becoming part of the standard configuration for a number of Kozak-2M1 vehicles.
Advantages of the integrated system
1. Complete detection and jamming capability
The combination of VITRIAK and SHATRO provides early threat detection and rapid response against FPV drones and commercial UAVs.
2. Combat-ready integration without vehicle modification
The custom mounting frame enables installation of the module without altering the armoured vehicle’s structure, preserving its protective characteristics.
3. Convenient control from inside the cabin
A dedicated control panel is integrated into the crew workstation, allowing the EW system to be operated quickly and directly from inside the vehicle.
4. Serial production
The solution was designed from the outset for scalable production and regular deployment in combat conditions.
